Best Logo Design Companies

Web design logo?
I am making a web design company and I want a good logo for it. If anybody can help me with ideas or (more helpful) make a logo or part of a logo for me, that would be awesome. I’ll give best answer to whoever comes up with the best idea for the logo.
Some specifications:
>Transparent background, similar to Yahoo’s logo
>Words “Vurial” or “Vurial Web Development” printed somewhere on the logo
That’s all, thanks guys & girls.
Well,
“Vurial” is the name that you will be wanting to brand to increase customer recognition, consumer trust, and industry respect. I would focus on achieving an easy-to-read, unique, clean, and professional font / typeface. Then, take “web development” and place it in a smaller font size with either a contrasting color to “vurial,” or a lighter tone of grey. Again, choose a crisp font that is easy to read (at least half of your target market is old enough to need reading glasses, so it would be wise to provide the courtesy of legibility).
An icon / shape to add to your typeface design will only help vistors remember your company over the others (secret: go unique, don’t copy or you’ll easily be forgotten), although it isn’t completely necessary (yahoo, google, ebay, amazon, etc.).
As far as the actual creation of this Logo Design, I recommend:

You should also go to google, click “images” and enter keywords “Logo Design Examples” / “logo examples” for inspiration.
Hope this helps!
Good luck with your web design company!

Logos Redesigned: How 200 Companies Successfully Changed Their Image $12.99 “Why change a logo?” To people who are not in the design or advertising world, this seems to be a fair question. Why replace a suit that you bought fifteen years ago? Why replace your Apple II computer? Why replace the Compugraphic you bought? Why replace your old car? Products wear out and become ineffective. So do logos. If you are about to begin the logo redesign process, here is information that will make the job much more productive. In this book, you will see 200 recent examples of logo redesigns. Best of all, each example has a brief commentary on the project, most of which were written by the designers themselves. |

Design Is How It Works: How the Smartest Companies Turn Products into Icons $8.99 There’s a new race in business to embrace “design thinking.” Yet most executives have no clue what to make of the recent buzz about design. It’s rarely the subject of business retreats. It’s not easily measurable. To many, design is simply a crapshoot. Drawing on interviews with top executives such as Virgin’s Richard Branson and Nike’s Mark Parker, Jay Greene illuminates the methods of companies that rely on design to stand out in their industries. From the experiences of those at companies from Porsche to REI to Lego, we learn that design isn’t merely about style and form. The heart of design is rethinking the way products and services work for customers in real life. Greene explains how: Porsche pit its designers against each other to create its bestselling Cayenne SUV. Clif listened intently to customers, resulting in the industry-changing Luna energy bar. OXO paid meticulous attention to the details, turned its LiquiSeal mug from an abysmal failure into one of its greatest successes. LEGO started saying no to its designers – saving its brick business in the process. Greene shows how important it is to build a culture in which design is more than an after-the-fact concern-it’s part of your company’s DNA. Design matters at every stage of the process. It isn’t easy, and it increases costs, but it also boosts profits, sometimes to a massive extent. In an increasingly competitive marketplace, design represents the best chance you have of transcending your competitors. |
